I run a marathon every two years (last one was NYC last year in 3h53). We recently bought with my wife and totally renocated a very nice flat close to the Eiffel Tower and with a top view on the Dome des Invalides in the heart of the 7th arrondissement of Paris. If you are interested to rent it during the Paris marathon period, please send us a mail. You may have a look on the flat on our home made website : http://www.aflattorentinparis.info bye bye Philippe and Sabine Hi

Although after a while you find it a bit boring, the first time you approach it and get into it, you are quite overwhelmed. I have stayed also at hotel Le Tourville. It is really a nice hotel, a kind of cocoon with a family and intimate atmosphere. My room was in yellow tones and had some very old furnitures: unique charm. For example, Le Salon du Bourget' is the Paris Air Show, not the living room of Le Bourget. rgds PO Please note that, although ‘salon’ does mean ‘living room’ in the appropriate context, in this context a better translation of ‘Salon du Cheval’ would be ‘Horse Show’. I'm always interested in getting feedback from visitors who've actually stayed at Paris hotels to get an honest opinion about their experience. The Hotel le Vignon looks very nice and the price seems good for the neighborhood. Thanks Ben for your comment on http://www.Parislogue.com.
