The Porte de Clichy station is located in the 17e. It serves metro line 13 in fare zone 2.
The name refers to the gateway nearby which controlled entry onto the former boulevard Jean-Jaures in the early 20th century. The roadway is now called avenue de la Porte de Clichy.
Eventual plans will link Porte de Clichy station to metro line 14 as well.
The surrounding area is largely residential in nature.
