Pont de Neuilly is part of Metro Line 1 and is situated in the western half of Paris. Its access point is along Charles de Gaulle and it is within fare zone 2.
Pont de Neuilly was the western most station of Line 1 from 1937 on until la Defense exploded and additional stations were added in 1992. It was named after a nearby bridge.
The station is a part of the Neuilly-sur-Seine community, a wealthy Paris suburb. It has always been a part of the city's upper crust society and many big names have lived their including Gerard Depardieu, the Rollins', Jean Reno, Liliane Bettencourt, Bette Davis and Louis Antoine Jullien.
Although it is located in what is traditionally a residential neighborhood, Pont de Neuilly also services several big name companies including NATO Research and Technology Organization (RTO).
