Located in the 8e, the Place de Clichy station services Metro Lines 2 and 13. It has access points along place de Clichy and is within fare zone 1.
The station is named after the Parisian square where the ancient village of Clichy's Wall of the Farmers-General once stood. The wall, erected in the Middle Ages, was approximately 24 kilometers long and was built to ensure that tolls were paid upon entering the city.
Place de Clichy is also very close to the famous Moulin Rouge cabaret and red light district.
