About Pelleport Metro Station, Paris

The Pelleport station is in east Paris' 20e. It serves metro line 3bis, is in fare zone 1, and has a single access at Place Paul Signac.
The station is named after Pierre de Pelleport, a 19th century military hero.
Pelleport is close to the Pere Lachaise Cemetery where countless famous faces were buried including Oscar Wilde, Marcel Proust, Chopin, and Jim Morrison.
It is also very near the cosmopolitan districts Menilmontant and Belleville. Each section had waves of immigration during the 19th century and Belleville has the second largest Chinatown in Paris.
