The Passy metro station serves line 6 in fare zone 1. It is located in western Paris along the River Seine.
The station's name refers to the village Passy which were taken under Paris' reign by Napoleon in 1860.
Trocadero station is located in the northern most part of 16e by Avenue Foch, Paris' widest roadway. The area is known as one of the wealthiest in Paris and has some of the priciest real estate in its residential sections.
Not far from the station are several places of interest including the giant Bois de Boulogne Park, the Pont de Bir-Hakeim, and Maison de Radio France headquarters.
