About Montparnasse Bienvenue Metro Station, Paris

Montparnasse – Bienvenue provides access to lines 4, 6, 12, and 13. It has portals along boulevard du Montparnasse, rue de l'Arrive, Tour Maine Montparnasse, Gare Montparnasse, avenue du Maine, place Bienvenue, and rue du Depart. It is located in 14e and fare zone 1.
Originally the Montparnasse station served lines 4 and 12 while Bienvenue was for lines 6 and 12. In the 1930s a long promenade was made to connect the two and the station was renamed thereafter. In 2002, an additional renovation – a moving walkway – was added to the terminal.
The station is near the Tour Montparnasse skyscraper and colossal Gare Montparnasse train station.
