ABOUT GARE DE L'EST

Situated in 10e, the Gare de l'Est station serves metro lines 4, 5, and 7. It has accesses on boulevard de Strasbourg, rue du Faubourg Saint Martin, rue du 8 Mai, and Gare de l'Est. The station is in fare zone 1.

Gare de l'Est is connected to rail station Verdun too, which is a commeration of the soldiers in the Battle of Verdun who were sent to fight from the station.

Situated on the Right Bank, excellent settings along the Seine are close to the station including canal Saint Martin and porte Saint Denis. Many notable squares reside here as well like Place de la Republique.

It is also within what is considered the administrative heart of Paris.
