ABOUT CADET

The Cadet station is located in northwestern Paris' 9e. It serves metro lines 7 in fare zone 1.

Cadet is name after M. Cadet de Chambine who once owned the land that was once known as rue de la Voirie but is now called rue la Fayette.

There are many places of interest in the area surrounding the station including the Paris Olympia, Opera Garnier, Musee Grevin, Musee Gustave Moreau, and Square Montholon.

Retail business booms here as well since the district is known for its department store shopping with Paris traditions like Galeries Lafayette and Printemps nearby on boulevard Haussmann.
