Zone: A Sevilla is situated just before the main central station of Sol, and can be a handy station to use for anyone who wants the visit the Puerta del Sol while avoiding the crowds of commuters. On leaving the station, be sure to try the local coffee chain Faborit instead of the Starbucks next door – with great coffee, juices and free internet access it’s a much better place for your caffeine fix. From here it’s a short walk to some of the more interesting bars and restaurants that can be found in the side streets between here and Calle de Huertas: take some time to wander round and find your favourite, sampling the tapas along the way like a true local. If you feel like splashing out there are some excellent luxury hotels nearby, such as the Vincci Centrum or the Urban G.L, or stick to your budget with one of the many hostels in the nearby side streets.
