Connected by underground walkway with Embajadores station, Acacias is also within walking distance of Piramides metro. It is close to the famous Rastro market and the trendy bars and restaurants of La Latina, while a metro journey to the centre takes a mere ten minutes without needing to change lines. The area itself is fairly quiet and residential, mainly served by small cafes and local shops. However, it could be a good base for travellers wishing to stay a little further out from the tourist centre.
